21 swings designed by Daily tous les jours, in Rennes soon!
Designed by Daily tous les jours, 21 swings are a collective music instrument, a game and an exercise of musical cooperation. When it is moving, one swing triggers several notes. As soon as they move altogether, the 21 swings create a musical composition of which melodies could not exist without the cooperation of the audience. It results in a gigantic musical instrument that stimulates the inhabitants into taking over the public space, and gathers people of all ages and origins. Until now, the installation has only been show as an event, but the Quebec designers of Daily tous les jours offer a permanent version of it.
Rennes is one of the 6 cities in the world to host this experience!
