ADA

Karina Smigla-Bobinski (DE-PL)

A gigantic sphere covered with black spikes, floating in the center of a white space. Evoking a biologic entity or an extraterrestrial creature, ADA could look threatening at first sight. ADA is, according to its creator Karina Smigla-Bobinski“a piece with a soul”. Moved by the visitor by draughts of air, it strides across the space, drawing strange patterns with the tip of its charcoal spikes. The slow and majestic moves as well as the infinite richness of the landscapes it draws little by little, sowing seeds of doubt. What if ADA was a living creature, gifted with a proper intelligence?
