The Théâtre national de Bretagne (TNB) is a cultural institution created in Rennes in 1990 by the union of the Centre dramatique de l’Ouest and the Maison de la Culture de Rennes. There was once called the Grand Huit, due to the shape of the building that houses the TNB. It is located at 1 rue Saint Hélier, in Rennes. Its mission is based on creation, dissemination and education, and is carried out at the regional, national and international levels. In 2002, it became a European centre for theatrical and choreographic production. The TNB, theatre and school, is headed by Arthur Nauzyciel from the start of the 2018 school year.
