Michela Pelusio (IT)
At the crossroads of art and science, the work of Italian sculptor and performer Michela Pelusio* plays with the exploration of human perception. In SpaceTime Helix, under the impulse of a rotating movement, sounds, light and gestures of the artist, a vertical object comes to life, then transforms itself into a giant and translucent kinetic sculpture. Like coming out of another dimension, giant, hypnotic, almost immaterial waves wave and rise in incessant luminous inflections. Inspired by quantum physics and the notion of infinity, SpaceTime Helix alters our perception of space, time and matter, and disturbs our relationship with reality.
