Antipode MJC, Electroni[k] and Maintenant Festival present :
Nuit Électronique, with Errorsmith (DE), Slikback (KE), Cera Khin (TN/DE) et A.N.I (BE/DE/FR)
A.N.I is a new collaboration between Ernesto González (Bear Bones, Lay Low), Florian Meyer (Don’t DJ) and Maxime Primault (Black Zone Myth Chant / High Wolf). Trance and reverie are their programme, via hyper-beat rhythmic music, long improvised and polyrhythmic forms, ambient, industrial and hybrid experiments.
By settling in the heart of the audience for a direct exchange, A.N.I. breaks down barriers to form a common body. With improvisation as a leitmotif, the audience witnessed a unique and spontaneous creation.
CERA KHIN (TN/DE)
The Berlin-based DJ has a series of dates all over the world. Residing on Noods Fm and Rinse Fm, the founder of the label Lazy Tapes plays techno like dancehall, jungle like electro, modern bass music like early rave sound. In search of raw energy in his mixes as well as live, his mantra is clear: “I PLAY WHATEVER THE F*** I WANT”.
A leader for more than twenty years, the German musician Errorsmith combines composition and the creation of modular instruments to play with the boundaries of club music. His latest album, Superlative fatigue (released by Pan in 2017), was entirely composed with one of his inventions, the Razor synthesizer. The techno delivered by Errorsmith is one of the most innovative, exciting and radical technologies heard in recent years and is gaining momentum live.
A young Kenyan prodigy and member of the Nyege Nyege Nyege collective, Slikback has established itself in less than a year as a muse on the African electronic scene. Co-founder of Hakuna Kulala (label of Nyege Nyege Nyege Tapes with Sapienz and Zilla, offering modern and tailored productions for the club), he has 2 EPs to his credit. After a very noticed set last autumn, he is now on the line ups of the most radiant festivals in Europe. In just two years, he has produced 400 songs and has all the makings of a great one. Strongly influenced by grime, footwork, gqom (South African percussive house) and traditional East African sounds, his music is a breath of fresh air for the bass music scene.
