In 2015, Jacques was invited to the Maintenant festival for a memorable performance under Nils Völker’s Seventeen aerial installation at the Théâtre du Vieux St-Étienne. While many will remember his unusual hairstyle, it’s his ability to constantly reinvent himself that makes him so special. From his nomination at the Victoires de la Musique to his Vortex theory and neatly disorganised sound experiments, Jacques is a free artist who sails to the challenges he sets himself.
