Born in Tokyo to British-American and Filipino parents, Objekt grew up in Belgium and the UK before moving to Berlin in 2009. The young English DJ and producer, in vogue on the international scene, surprises with his extensive and varied discography, at the crossroads of genres. Although techno remains his center of gravity, his club sets jostle and plunge dancers into a hypnotic wave of sound that incorporates broken beats, acid, noise, house and EBM, reflecting the electronic underground of the last thirty years.
