A painter, sculptor, set designer and musician, Simon Poligné‘s visual and pictorial universe is steeped in references to art history, pop culture and the practices of trompe l’oeil and fakery. Using saturated tones, traces of fluorescence, floating forms and industrial materials, the artist explores a wide range of formal games. By shifting, reversing and inverting, he blurs the boundaries between reality and dream, the familiar and the mysterious.
