Basalt
Basalt: sons & curiosités (formerly Le Bon Accueil) is an artistic venue located within La Longère, a renovated building running alongside the Canal Saint-Martin at Prairies Saint-Martin, in Rennes. The organisation runs the Daphne Oram gallery there, dedicated to contemporary art exhibitions.
Musical culture serves as a guiding thread towards other fields of creation: visual arts, performance, sound imagination. Exhibitions, events, workshops and artistic education projects make up a programme in which curiosity is as much a stance as it is an agenda.
