Héron Cendré

In the rare bird department, Héron Cendré is bringing his synthesisers and electronic experiments to the Bibliothèque des Champs Libres for the Maintenant festival. He plays hybrid music, influenced as much by the minimalist music of Steve Reich or Terry Riley as by Robert Wyatt-style pop and the experimentation of traditional music. Héron Cendré fashions a poetic world, a gentle blend of folk and other fantasies of electronic music. Passionate about outsider art, the artist creates in a visceral, spontaneous and instinctive way, offering concerts that are as singular as they are surprising.
