Electroni[k] 2007

In 2007, Electroni[k] invites itself in many places in Rennes for concerts, exhibitions, performances, tours, projections and conferences. This 7th edition widens the field of experimentation and, for the first time, is exported to Saint-Malo and Redon.

This edition starts a cycle of creations for young people and the general public with the premiere of Carton Park, a meeting between Gangpol Und Mit and Juicy Panic.

Murcof and Efterklang, accompanied by Peter Broderick, take over the Drum with their innovative audiovisual performances.

Labtop session and Electroni[k] are organising a Headphone Sessions – a listening tour with headphones through the city – with Eddie Ladoire, Black Sifichi, Iroskin, La Blatte and the talented Rennes-based Joanie Lemercier / Crustea, who will be present for other projects during several editions of the festival.

Fennesz and the Trio Élégiaque propose simultaneously, but on 2 sites (the Conservatoire Chapel and the Parlement de Bretagne), a reinterpretation or an interpretation of Dusapin’s pieces.

Port Royal and Frédéric Nogray are taking over unexpected places: the ephemeral Zac 40mCube gallery for the Italians and the Protestant Temple for the sonographer manipulating crystal bowls.

An edition rich in partnerships and a programm full of unclassifiable discoveries.
