François J. Bonnet is a French-Swiss composer and theorician.
He is the director of the Groupe de Recherches Musicales de l’Institut National de l’Audiovisuel (INA GRM) since 2018. He has published La musique à venir (Shelter Press, 2020), Après la mort (L’éclat, 2017), L’Infra-monde (Editions MF, 2015), Les mots et les sons (Editions de l’éclat, 2012) and Un archipel sonore (L’éclat, 2012). He is also a producer on France Musique and co-editor of the journal Spectres (Shelter Press). His music, often broadcast under the project Kassel Jaeger, has been presented worldwide.
