Flavien Théry & Fred Murie

© Sébastien Niggli

Working together under the name Spéculaire, Fred Murie and Flavien Théry have for several years been creating works that combine physical forms and perceptual phenomena. Flavien Théry’s work, influenced by optical and kinetic art, explores in particular the links between light, space and contemporary technologies. Together, the artists develop installations that build on scientific inquiries whilst opening up new visual and sensory territories.

Their works, images, sculptures, installations and immersive experiences, are rooted in reality whilst revealing what eludes it: immaterial dimensions, invisible presences, unsuspected realities.

At Les Champs Libres, for the 25th edition of the Maintenant festival, they are presenting the arts/science exhibition Le Monde invisible.
