Myriam Bleau is a multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal and passionate about music and new technologies. She creates artworks that mix audiovisual interfaces, interactive installations and original musical compositions. She explores performance and movement as a cultural manifestation that reflects and reuses the codes and symbols of human and non-human beings. Myriam Bleau is internationally recognised for her immersive sensory experiences and her constant exploration of the new frontiers of digital art.
In 2015, Myriam Bleau presented at Maintenant festival her performance Soft Revolver, in which she controlled sound and light using innovative spinning tops. In 2017, she came back with autopsy.glass, an audiovisual performance in which the wine glass becomes the main instrument.
