Simon Lazarus graduated from H.E.A.R. with a double degree in Art & Graphic Design. Having been involved in graffiti since the early 2000s, he is now experimenting with new plastic territories through the use of digital technologies. An adept of hacking in the broadest sense of the term, he appropriates the tools of maker culture to produce drawings, volumes, animated frescoes and audiovisual installations. His pictorial grammar, which gravitates between symbolism and abstraction, is embodied in processes that place virtual imagery and physical materiality in tension. He is also involved in collective adventure practices (ROAD DOGS), storytelling (MANITOU) and off-piste scouting (KUK).
