Stephanie Lüning is a German artist who, through an experimental approach to artistic expression, breaks the traditional framework of painting. Her colourful works take us to the heart of the transitory, the indefinite, the processual. A specialist in large-scale performance art, she makes empty and public spaces her favourite playgrounds, which she likes to fill with a spectacle of foam… until it overflows.
Her work is regularly presented in numerous events and galleries around the world, such as the German Foundation of Memorial Protection (Bonn, DE), the KIKK Festival (Namur, BE), the Greenwich+Docklands International Festival (London, UK), the Hammond Harkins Galleries (Columbus, USA), or the Museum of Contemporary Art in Wroclaw (PL).
