Thomas Garnier is a French contemporary artist and visual artist. Trained as an architect, he graduated from Le Fresnoy, where he received the ADAGP “Révélations des arts numériques” prize for his “Cénotaphe” installation.

His practice is that of an artist and a researcher. He explores and questions the notion of space, staging it with automated technological devices. He generates mysterious atmospheres that plunge audiences into the archaeology of a fallen industrial world. Lights, projections and illusions guide spectators on a strange wander on the border between real spaces and landscapes shaped by man.
