Maintenant 2020 ‣ Edition in video

Art, music & new technology: The 2020 edition has been redesigned and adapted to the unexpected health context. For six months, the festival teams have built, deconstructed and reconstructed the programme, aiming to ensure and preserve the links between artists, audiences and artworks. At a time when society is accelerating its digitisation, Maintenant wanted to experiment with new forms, to favour interactions and maintain the relationship with people. At a time when the existence of cultural events is being questioned, the festival was lucky to take place thanks to a collective that shares the conviction that culture is even more essential in the delicate period we are going through, and contributes to the well-being of everyone.

Despite this context, we are proud of this 20th edition and grateful for the support and involvement of all those who made it possible. A big thank you to the artists, producers, technicians, partners, volunteers and employees of the association who have taken up this challenge together. A special thought goes to the whole cultural sector, friends, colleagues and audiences affected by this crisis.
