Peder Bjurman, Antonin Druart: crossed views on tardigrades

For the 24th edition of the Maintenant festival, Swedish artist Peder Bjurman has created Slow Walker, an augmented reality installation featuring a giant tardigrade visible through the screen of your mobile device, floating in the sky over the Place du Parlement de Bretagne. It’s an invitation to walk slowly and meditate, guided by the creature that questions our respective places in the living world, and talks to us about life and death, impermanence and long time.

On 7 October at 06:30 pm at EESAB – site de Rennes, he will be in discussion with Antonin Druart, author of the short story Micro-câlin published by Animal Debout, a funny, slightly paranoid tale of scientists grappling with their subject of study, tardigrades, tiny but powerful creatures.
