Cells is an audiovisual concert blending cello, electronic music and light design. Within an immersive set design that evokes, in turn, a cabin, a refuge or a laboratory, sound and light become the building blocks of a dizzying sensory experience. At the heart of an instrument-vessel, Gaspar Claus unleashes the full sonic richness of his cello in a performance that fuses ambient layers, electronic textures and plays of light. A contemporary ritual that is both intimate and spectacular, playing with our perceptions and unsettling our senses.

A film composer and regular collaborator with artists such as Rone and Barbara Carlotti, Gaspar Claus has for several years been pursuing his explorations at the crossroads of experimental music, improvisation and immersive forms. Drawing on a background shaped as much by flamenco as by contemporary music, he has developed a unique approach in which acoustic instruments, sound technology and visual art come together in a single artistic language.
