A tribal yet industrial sound experience with synthetic textures, sometimes chanted lyrics and metallic percussion. Dame Area is a duo with a warrior soul, born of the encounter between Italian Silvia Konstance and Spaniard Viktor L. Crux in Barcelona’s famous underground club Màgia Roja. In Italian or Spanish, happy or cruel, the tracks are catchy and hard-hitting. The duo’s animality is astonishing, taking us into their wild, burnt-out world!
They made their name with a handful of heady singles (Centro di gravitá, Dicevi a me), and have also found their way into the playlists of many inveterate DJs and diggers (Toulouse Low Trax, Vladimir Ivkovic, Identified Patient, Yamatsuka Eye (Boredoms)).
Their influences include the intentions of early Einsturzende Neubauten and the phantasmagorical delirium of Nurse With Wound, who now cross paths with Pelada and Esplendor Geométrico. A magical, delirious, liberated formula.
