Kali Malone is an American composer and musician based in Stockholm. Her compositions implement specific tuning systems in minimalist structure for pipe organ, choir, chamber music ensembles and electroacoustic formats. Kali’s music is rich with harmonic texture through synthetic and acoustic instrumentation in repetitive and extended durations. The music emits distinct emotive, dynamic, affective hues which brings a stunning depth of focus.
For this concert, Kali Malone will be accompanied by Stephen O’Malley and they will play on the ancient organ of the Château de Versailles, on which Mozart played for the King Louis XV in 1764.

Thanks to the City of Rennes, the association offers to people with hearing impairment to benefit from :
– a magnetic loop : allows partially deaf people equipped with hearing aids to have a listening quality identical to that of people with full hearing.
– subpac : A portable device that looks like a backpack and allows you to physically feel the music.
