With Le monde invisible, Flavien Théry and Fred Murie explore what eludes the eye and our usual perceptions. Conceived during a residency at the University of Rennes and co-produced by Les Champs Libres, this Art & Science exhibition brings together around twenty works combining installations, sculptures, images and immersive experiences.
Through the interplay of light, optical phenomena and digital media, the duo creates a world where science and the imagination converge. The exhibition reveals invisible or imperceptible realities, inspired as much by physics as by contemporary research into perception and new media. Shadows, reflections, light signals and immaterial forms combine to create an ever-changing environment.
The exhibition is accompanied by an original musical composition by Thomas Poli, conceived as a sonic extension of the exhibition experience. First presented in Rennes in 2026, Le monde invisible offers a journey through artistic experimentation, scientific research and audiovisual immersion.
