“Create a decolonial and feminist scene” is the credo of the Marseilles-based producer, DJ and rapper Moesha 13*, whose musical identity has a rare hybridity. Presenting her productions on stages all over the world, whether at the CTM festival in Berlin or on the Nyege Nyege stage in Uganda, she seems to be everywhere and navigates between genres with disconcerting ease, from reggaeton to gabber (a genre derived from hardcore techno), with sounds coming straight from Atlanta (nicknamed the “center of gravity of hip hop” for having seen Childish Gambino, 2 Chainz and André 3000, founder of OutKast, grow up there).
