The festival in a few words:

Maintenant is back in Rennes for its 25th edition!

True to its name, Maintenant (Now) invites everyone to experience the present moment, between arts, music and technology. 10 days to come together, be surprised, and share the thrill of concerts, performances, artistic installations and encounters in Rennes.

With the same curiosity as at its beginnings, Maintenant questions our times and celebrates everything that escapes categorisation, convinced that the unexpected is born at the margins and edges. The Now Bodies, intriguing creatures by Rafaela Mascaro who embody this edition, set the tone: a desire for resistance that is as joyful and colourful as it is strange, hybrid and unclassifiable.

For this edition, the festival invites you to take side paths and look away from already charted horizons: explore the optimism of solarpunk, look for rainbows before the rain, feel the magic of the invisible, and turn dance into a manifesto for freedom.

From October 1st to 11th, discover the exhibition trail between Théâtre du Vieux St-Étienne and Les Ateliers du Vent, experience unusual formats, dance to the rhythm of the local and international electronic scene at the Salle de Cité, and experiment with technology through workshops and an afternoon dedicated to both the youngest and the oldest!
