Electroni[k] presented the 19th edition of the festival Maintenant from 4 to 13 October, a poetic journey through digital cultures and innovative artistic practices.
For almost 20 years, Maintenant has aimed to promote innovation and artistic creativity within the 18 venues involved in this 19th edition of the festival. Spectators were invited to live unique experiences, such as the discovery of Vincent Leroy‘s monumental and weightless work at the Musée des beaux-arts in Rennes, a sound immersion with the Japanese artist Asuna, or Michela Pelusio‘s visual performance SpaceTime Helix at the Champs Libres, without forgetting all the propositions of the Théâtre du Vieux St-Etienne, a desacralized 12th century chapel and heart of the festival.
10 days of discoveries, exchanges and encounters with the main objective of combining the arts, music and technology in a plural way. More than 23,000 people have lived new experiences between concerts, performances, conferences, exhibitions and installations.
In figures:
- 23 000 participants
- 101 group visits
